CONSULTANTS-BERLIN

Consultancy offer: New technologies

With its new technologies, digitalization is having an impact on many industrial sectors. Disruptive changes can be expected in some areas. And the rolling stock industry is not spared the impact of these changes. It is the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) area in particular which is opening up new opportunities and business models in new build and, especially, refurbishment. Data is collected from existing or new, additional sensor technology, transferred, and intelligently managed. Hardware and software are used to conduct targeted analyses of operational data from the vehicle and the ERP system. Key words are predictive maintenance to increase availability and corresponding cost reductions, increased safety, and asset monitoring.

We work hard to identify the technologies for the rolling stock industry which are an ideal match for the special technological requirements of the railway industry, operators, and manufacturers. We maintain an intense level of contact with innovative companies, Universities, and other collaboration partners. Our current consultation offer in this area is the joint development and integration of a concept in your refurbishment projects.

Collaboration with an operator to define the requirements for sustainable rail vehicle service and implement those requirements in a prototype.

To achieve this we created a working group comprising renowned and innovative companies and supported by a competent university.

We have created a PDF (in German) for you with more information on PRIORI – Early Detection.
